Let us organise a training & advisory event focussing on your individual needs. Several employees can participate at once, deal with possibly confidential matters, and save money.

In addition to our regular training activities on State aid, we offer tailor-made inhouse trainings and advice for public and private institutions in Europe. We develop the content of each individual inhouse event in cooperation with you and our Academic Director Prof. Phedon Nicolaides. Our modular approach gives you the opportunity to choose the most important topics for your institution.

Why organise inhouse training & advice with Lexxion?

  • Your choice: Design a training and advisory programme with us and choose between many different State aid modules
  • Your premises: Focus on topics that are important to your institution, discuss sensitive issues in a confidential atmosphere and receive advice on how to design State aid measures or comply with State aid rules
  • Your team: Train a group of employees simultaneously to ensure that everyone is on the same level
  • Your budget: Eliminate all travel and hotel costs

We have successfully organised inhouse events with Prof. Nicolaides on State aid for:

  • Finance Wales plc
  • Pinsent Masons LLP
  • The Centre for Process Innovation
  • Enterprise Flanders
  • …and many more.

By tailoring the course to the specific needs of Finance Wales plc it not only provided an opportunity to refresh participants’ knowledge and understanding of state aid matters it also engaged colleagues from across the organisation in discussing the impact of new state aid developments on the business. I would strongly recommend Lexxion for EC state aid training.
(Judi Oates, Group Compliance Officer, Finance Wales plc)

The event was very well planned with thorough communications throughout. For the course itself I thought the pace of the course was good and it had a natural flow to the subjects being discussed.  Prof. Nicolaides was engaging, knowledgeable and professional and I liked the discussion element of the course as it is always good to hear other people’s issues and link them into your own.  Overall an excellent course which I would recommend to others.
(Louise Barker, The Centre for Process Innovation)

Method and thematic scope

The programme of your inhouse training can cover different areas of EU State aid law and related topics. It can concentrate on the basics of State aid and give you and your colleagues an introduction and some practical advice how to deal with State aid cases, including procedures and exemptions. We can also focus on the most current developments to keep you and your colleagues up to date. Additionally, you can choose from a wide range of topics, which are most relevant for your institution. Based on our experience, it is always advisable to include some time for discussion.

Organisational Information & Costs

  • Date: You can send preferred dates and we try to fix these dates after consultation with the training leader. We always recommend contacting us for an inhouse event as early as possible and at least 3 months in advance. This makes sure to create a programme tailored to your needs and gives Prof. Nicolaides time for preparation.
  • Venue: The training can take place on your premises or in another place chosen by you.
  • Number of Participants: Our inhouse events are designed for small groups up to 15 participants and for bigger groups up to 25 participants. Exceptions are possible upon request.
  • Working language: Our inhouse trainings on State aid are conducted in English. Exceptions are possible upon request.
  • Costs: If you are interested in our inhouse training & advice on State aid, please contact us and we are glad to prepare a non-binding offer for you with general information, a draft programme and the price. The final price depends on the number of participants, the programme, and the knowledge level of the participants (beginners or advanced training). For our offer, we always need in advance the estimated number of participants and a short overview of topics, which are most interesting for you.
